this is patience

Are you a patient person?  I sense you are seeing as we have all had to endure some level of patience during this unprecedented time in our lives.

According to Miriam Webster being patient means:

“steadfast despite opposition, difficulty, or adversity.”

When you are steadfast you are committed and unwavering.

As a Non-Nine-to-Fiver™ you MUST be willing to be patient if you know in your heart you are meant to fulfill on your purpose outside of a 9-5 job.

It is important to get clear on what patience is NOT however . . .

being patient:

  • does not meant you wait for the perfect moment (for the perfect moment does not exist).

  • does not mean you wait for permission.

  • does not mean you wait until you have “all of your ducks in a row.”

  • does not mean you wait until you have gathered or learned enough information.

  • does not mean you wait until you have enough accolades hanging on your wall.

  • does not mean you wait until you “feel ready” (for you will never feel ready enough for anything).

Patience is NOT inaction.

Patience is dynamic.  Being dynamic is being in constant action.

Patience requires committed action, done consistently without expectation of overnight results.

Patience is ongoing.  Will you see the fruits of your labor if you commit to patience and consistent actions?  Yes, you will.  You have my word on that.

What I know to be true is that if you are patient in the ways I described above and you know in your heart The Non-Nine-to-Five™ Way of Living is for you then you are someone I want to work with.
