Trust in one’s self, in others, in a higher power, experiences, and circumstances plays a vital role in living a fully balanced and mature life.
Without trust we’re essentially living in a constant state of fear, second guessing, and anxiety whether conscious of it or not.
Distrust tends to stem from childhood events, trauma, or low self-esteem.
Knowing this, is it possible to get clear on and move forward with your Non-Nine-to-Five purpose, creating successful self-employment if you distrust?
The answer is a resounding, NO.
From my own personal experience and connecting with hundreds of people, I have learned that NOT TRUSTING is the number one reason why folks who want to create successful self-employment get so stuck.
They do not trust themselves.
They do not trust in a higher power.
They do not trust me/the process.
All of these of course make sense.
You don’t trust yourself because of poor decisions you’ve made in the past.
You don’t trust your higher power because when you were guided in a certain direction it didn’t go the way you thought it would.
You don’t trust me because of experiences with programs or coaches that went sour. Maybe I’m just trying to make a quick buck or what if the work we do at The Non-Nine-to-Five™ won’t make a difference for you or you won’t actually do the work? What if you are just too different?
Yet, the only way TO TRUST is TO TRUST.
At The Non-Nine-to-Five™ one of my favorite teachings I provide is, “Lead with your Intuition.” This is where you are taught HOW to discern fear from intuition so that you make decisions from a completely aligned place of peace and trust.
Imagine being taught HOW to understand your intuition, to know what it is telling you, which direction it is guiding you in, feeling 100% at ease.
This IS The Non-Nine-to-Five™ way.
Seeing you Successfully Self-Employed,
- Jen
P.S.: Kristin, a wonderful member of The Non-Nine-to-Five™ community is demonstrating putting her trust in our intimate and safe community. She shared this on our private forum earlier this week:
I am grateful for the Non-Nine-to-Five Community Forum, to have support from other people going through similar journeys in their career and life. Starting a business and going on this journey is a whole life shift, so it's such a great sounding board here and I love it.
