Earlier this year I began a new journey that's been led purely by my intuition. In April I was finishing up a walk and some play time with my sweet dog Hunny when I saw across the street a large group of people and music playing. I realized that it was an outdoor church service. I walked over and hovered around hoping someone would come and talk to me because I was really curious, but also feeling shy. As faith has it, Rachel struck up a conversation with me pretty much right away and I decided to attend the following Sunday and then went back the next Sunday, and then the next, and the next and now I have been attending for 6 months. Each Sunday I show up completely OPEN to what will be shared. Sometimes I scratch my head, other times I feel fully connected, while others I say “No, No, No.” And yet, I keep SHOWING UP. A few Sundays ago, there was a passage read from the bible that I find so poignant:
“Consider it pure joy (my brothers and sister) whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.” – James 1:2-4
James is telling us to find joy in facing difficult times because when our faith is tested this produces perseverance. It is the same as pursuing your Non-Nine-to-Five purpose. You WILL experience difficulty and ups and downs . . .
AND, each time you do you can persevere or not. BUT, if you choose to persevere, your faith strengthens and you become closer to joy, closer to the woman you have always wanted to be, doing the work you have been called to do. The Non-Nine-to-Five™ community is made up of women who are holding strong, showing up, persevering no matter what to create their life’s work (and creating SO much success as a result!). Just like Teresa who just after 2 weeks of our work together went from unworthy to full on determination! “I just started working with Jen and within less than 2 weeks I went from believing that I was not worthy to be a wealthy, high level, financially free person and NOW I feel “Why NOT me?!” It feels great! It's gratifying to know that I had this limiting belief holding me back mentally and now it is completely gone, replaced by even more fire and determination that I CAN achieve my ideal day and future.” If you are this type of woman or want to be this woman, then this community is the place for you. Seeing you Successfully Self-Employed, - Jen P.S.: If you are ready to bring your Non-Nine-to-Five determination and be supported by an amazing community, my hand is reached out and our community is waiting for you. <3
