It was right after a chat with my dad where he casually said, “Why don’t you start your own tutoring business?” Just 1 month earlier I had quit my full-time teaching job and with determination and focus I secured independent contracting work as a tutor. The quick chat with my dad led me to my first business “Teacher on the Go” which then led me to seeing a deep need for others to do exactly what I had done – quit their 9-5, stand on their own two feet (without their 9-5), and find/pursue their Non-Nine-to-Five purpose. Pursuing your Non-Nine-to-Five purpose doesn’t need to feel hard and it doesn’t need to be a mystery, especially when you have a supportive community right alongside you.
