it took me 4 year to do THIS!

In the summer of 2019, I was attending the City of Austin’s Annual Women’s Entrepreneurial Event where I met some amazing women, listened to a stellar panel of women business owners, and felt a jolt of inspiration knowing I live in a city that deeply appreciates the female entrepreneur. I remember sitting there saying, “I want to speak for the city, and I am going to make it happen.” I began reaching out to a woman that I had met from the event and quickly learned that she was quite busy. I didn’t take it personal though. People are busy and my city is definitely busy! After reaching out from 2019 – 2022 I decided to give it a rest... AND THEN at the end of last year I got a strong intuitive hit to reach out again which went something like this, “I am getting the feeling I should reach out again. Ok, I’ll do that!” Two weeks ago, I gave the keynote for the City’s Annual Women’s Entrepreneurial Event.

Yup, the same one I attended in 2019! I even got to take some photos with the mayor.

This is the power of:

  • Intentionality

  • Tenacity

  • Leading with your Intuition (one of the seven teachings I provide)

Making the full shift from 9-5 to Non-Nine-to-Five is a journey! However, if you are willing to put the work in (even if it takes you four years to land a speaking gig!) boy is it well worth it! Seeing you Successfully Self-Employed, - Jen P.S.: Speaking is a deep passion of mine that comes alive in front of both small and large audiences. I'm consistently being told, “Thank you for sharing vulnerably. I felt so connected to what you said, and I know I am not alone.” <<First Name>>, do you know an organization or host seeking a unique, straight forward, and dynamic speaker who values vulnerability and no fluff? If so, would you be so kind to email me? P.S.S: If part of your Non-Nine-to-Five vision is to speak to others whether on small or large stages, I will teach you all of the steps I have taken to become a speaker!
