The day has finally arrived . . . a day that I never imagined in my wildest dreams would come to fruition. Today is the 10 year anniversary of quitting my job (and I'm also teaching The Non-Nine-to-Five 1st EVER Virtual Masterclass today too)! 10 years ago to the day I walked into the school I taught at and gave notice I was quitting. A few days before Christmas I walked out of the school for the last time ever. It's important for me to be transparent with you and tell you that when I quit:
I felt like a loser who was letting down her students and staff
I didn't exactly know where I was meant to go next
I was nervous about my future
AND . . . I trusted. I trusted my intuition and my gut instincts even though it still felt crazy and scary. I trusted. Because I did, within 3 months I had started my first business, Teacher on the Go.
